African Union

At the heart of challenges that face the African Union is the lack of multi-level policy coherence which can have two major consequences 

- perpetuating the low regional integration level

- swaying away from the SDGs, for example by adopting unsustainable poverty reduction and rising standards of living policies (blue economy strategy)
